A highly regarded Main Contractor operating throughout the UK and Europe are currently seeking a Senior Site Manager for a major commercial Fit Out in Central London.
An experienced Senior Site Manager is needed to lead the construction and delivery of a Commercial fit out with a value of over £35 million in central London.
This is an amazing opportunity for a career-driven construction professional to add a prestigious commercial fit-out project to their portfolio. Working for a fast-growing main contractor, they are offering full site autonomy.
Senior Site Manager Role and Responsibilities:
- Liaising with various staff and senior stakeholders such as Clients, Sub-contractors, Senior Engineer, Foreman, and Quantity Surveyor.
- Manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
- Planning out weekly work programmes as well as producing weekly reports on the progress of the project.
- Manage the site team, ensuring that key milestones are met.
- Manage the design of the project as well as working alongside the commercial team.
- Carry out statutory workplace inspections.
- Constantly reinforce the Health & Safety culture, striving for an accident-free site.
- Attend and chair weekly management meetings.
- Develop a specific programme for the project with planned milestones.
The successful Senior Site Manager will have:
- Natural authority to control all On-Site activities.
- Very strong knowledge of SHE requirements and keen to see these implemented.
- Quality driven – Defect free.
- Responsible for ensuring site presentation is always maintained to the highest levels.
- Strong Prelim management abilities.
- Experienced primarily with structures (steel), facades, roofing, scaffolding etc. although would benefit by having fit-out (commercial experience).
